A teaching development stay specially designed for Indian teachers of French as a foreign language took place from May 16 to 30, 2018. The ten teachers were accompanied by Nandita Wagle, professor at Savitribai Phule University in Pune and president of the Indian Association of Teachers of French (IATF), western zone.
The group consisted of experienced French teachers from throughout India and new Savitribai Phule Pune University teaching graduates. The heterogeneous nature of the group ensured that a wealth of knowledge was shared.
During the stay, the participants took teaching courses and French language upgrading courses, and also participated in cultural activities in Québec. Their stay especially made it possible to demystify Québec French and discover its richness, particular characteristics and history.
