Montréal ranks second for millennials among the world’s cities

According to the Nestpick ranking, Montréal comes in ahead of London, Barcelona, New York and Paris on the basis of 17 factors.

Nestpick assessed 110 cities in the world and compared them considering factors of interest to millennials in particular, such as the cost of rent, Internet speed, gender equality, tolerance and nightlife.

Montréal came in second, just behind Berlin. The city of Montréal stood out particularly because of its tolerance, its LGBT friendliness, its nightlife and its many festivals.

This isn’t the first time Montréal has scored high in the rankings of cities for young people. Last year, according to QS, Montréal was voted the best student city in the world.
